One way or the other, we had better make sure to keep UK outside the euro zone. As it is, we have 1 euro=100 cents but if we allow Britons to mix in, we might get 1 euro=20 directives=27 commissioners=1/540 of one Barroso.
As long as all of us seem to have an annual expenditure somewhat higher than our annual income, it does not really matter if we are talking about 200 K Icelanders or somewhat more Britons. The point is to keep the currency decimated, no matter if we call it euro, Barroso or Gordon.

I have a feeling that the UK wouldn’t satisfy the conditions at the moment. And the population is bigger than Iceland’s, so little chance there.
