I took this photo on April 1, but to some people it isn’t a joke.
I’ve been looking at this one for quite some time now Margaret. Is the joke that it sounds like it’s a carp sausage from the Aischgründer beer brewers? I thought it might be a local delicacy at first. You never know – sounds somewhat icky to me….

I don’t think it’s well known, but it is intended to be a local delicacy, as you say. The Aischgrund is where most of the carp ponds are. There was one of these Hamburger Fischmärkte here for a weekend, several huge vans selling various kinds of fish, and this was a local stand accompanying it. I didn’t try them!
