I was in Erfurt recently and was impressed with the Jewish Community Center, the synagogues and cemetaries there. Erfurt really is impressive, especially the Erfurter Dom.
I really wanted to go to Erfurt, Weimar and Jena this year. Thanks for the recommendation. I have actually been there as I translated a guide to the Predigerkirche and I can remember the cathedral and is it St Severin opposite? An impressive view, but I don’t think I’ve spent much time in either of them. Have been to Weimar during Goethe anniversary of some kind (2000?), but not to Jena.
