On March 14, I heard from a similar project, LiveTranslation.
Both sites seem to be advertising a product that is better than Babelfish but can be obtained with minimum effort and fast.

I am thinking of starting a service to deliver translation in less than real time, for instance yesterday. That’s what a lot of clients would like.

Paul, good idea, but I think that anti-time translation might run into some problems with anti-time invoice collection: “Dear Customer: We have not yet received payment for our invoice # X dated tomorrow for our translation YYY, which we will do next week against the text you will write next month”.
Sounds like a wonderful world for editors – if they can learn to edit the time and not the text. So that next week’s payment can come in before last week’s cash flow crisis when the overdraft went over the limit.
Puts a whole new meaning on the idea of creative writing for eternity!

It got me some attention, but I didn’t enjoy the clientele as much as I did the ones who could actually wait for, say, a read-over…
