Before the arrival of winter, I went on a hill walk. We may not be the surroundings of Barcelona, but we do have a hill (with a view of Nuremberg), a canal, an aqueduct and a harbour.

We’re rather spoilt for hills here but you certainly have the light, as well as a higher proportion of deciduous forest on which to cast it.

I think we currently export our rubbish to Africa, only keeping the carcinogenic stuff to burn next to wherever the gypsies live. There must be some redundant German prince somewhere in the Balkans who can be persuaded to return, forgiving one and all.
