I haven’t found a German version, not that I’ve looked long. erlkoenigs tochter mentions the occasion, but misses the vital point. The Berlin Cricket Club (wonderful logo) has news in English but not German. German Wikipedia does have a good cricket article, but I don’t think ball-tampering makes it.
