Does Germany allow that? I know that UK does.
Yes, because it’s mutually possible. But I am told that a German who wanted to get dual nationality in the UK until recently had to go to the German embassy and prove a continuing connection. And here in Bavaria, they were slow to implement this possibility, I gather, but it’s OK now.
